Take Action: Host a Dark Side of Chocolate Screening
Take action in your community by hosting a film screening of the Dark Side of Chocolate and collecting petitions to send on to Hershey, requesting a Fair Trade Hershey bar.
This 2010 documentary exposes the ongoing use of child labor, forced labor and trafficking in the cocoa industry in West Africa. It is a great resource for increasing awareness of this critical labor rights issue.
We would like to thank the the filmmakers, Miki Mistrati and U. Robin Romano, for generously sharing their film for these screenings, to help spread the words about the problems that persist in the cocoa sector.
